Maybe you heard something about Black Holes before, but did you ever wonder what they really mean❓
Did you had the curiosity to google it in order to find more about these mysterious objects❓
And why are they even called Black Holes in the first place❓
Black Holes are so mysterious that we know nothing about what’s really going on inside them. The gravitational attraction inside is so big that even light cannot escape from there. 🤭
Did you know that at the heart of a Black Holes lies down a Singularity, where the gravitational field is infinite? Wow! This is just a fancy way of saying that the laws of physics break down at that point and that we need new physics to describe the Universe inside of a Black Hole.
Ciprian Sporea, Associate Researcher of the Research Center in Theoretical Physics
within the Faculty of Physics (West University of Timisoara), will be with us to answer all questions related to Black Holes.
In 2016, he received the Ad Astra Award for Excellence in Doctoral Research in the field of Physical and Chemical. Some of the topics studied and addressed over time by Ciprian are black holes, Hawking radiation and the rotation of stars in galaxies.
Some of the things we will discuss in this presentation will be about:

P.S.: This will not be a pure scientific presentation, so no scary equations to ruin your evening. Our goal is to present the fascinating world of Black Holes using the rubber duck debugging technique sort of speaking.
